Orfandade

Atravessando a fronteira por Fuentes de Oñoro
O teu pai, vinha aqui muitas vezes
Vinha...vinha... parou-me o coração no tempo do verbo, ficou tudo escuro.
A  rádio toca "I feel so close to you right now" e eu a sentir-me encolher, a querer perceber essa proximidade e nada, só um nó no estômago a ausência a doer, um buraco no peito, as lágrimas a saltar e os soluços que não pude conter.
Serei para sempre órfã. E esta dor não passará.

Madiba para sempre!

There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires.
